Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Director - Strategic Integration

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead the strategic integration of Sage Copilot across our product lines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design, managing a multidisciplinary team, and guiding the creation of a unified user interface and data analysis framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for the implementation of Sage Copilot, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Architectural & Technical Oversight: Direct the architectural design for Sage Copilot integration, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering skills development in AI/ML technologies relevant to Sage Copilot.
  • UI & Data Analysis Management: Oversee the development of a cohesive user interface that delivers a consistent and intuitive experience across all products.
  • AI/ML Compliance & Alignment: Ensure all AI/ML components within Sage Copilot are compliant with external framework guidelines and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Sage Copilot implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must Have: Extensive experience in leading product engineering teams, particularly in architecture, Copilot, AI and ML.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Proven track record in delivering high-quality customer technology solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in software development best practices and patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event Sourcing, Domain-Driven Design).
  • Leadership Experience: Strong business acumen and senior leadership experience.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud, social, mobility, IoT, and big data technologies.
  • Agile Delivery Methods: Experience in leading large-scale, multi-million-pound projects and proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management and Agile delivery methods.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
