Heat Transfer Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Engineer to join our team at ATG Europe. As a key member of our ATG Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing Thermal Control Systems for space hardware.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in thermal engineering and a proven track record of conceptual and detailed design of thermal control systems. They will also have experience with modeling and analysis of spacecraft hardware, as well as optimization of thermal control systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and Development: Conceptual and detailed design of thermal control systems for space hardware, including modeling and analysis of spacecraft hardware.
- Optimization and Testing: Optimization of thermal control systems, definition of testing plans and procedures, and participation in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of total systems.
- Documentation and Communication: Documentation of work, presentation and justification of work in reviews, and direct interfacing with customers on technical level and participation in program level communication.
- Team Collaboration: Participation in quality assurance and quality control tasks, supervision/coordination of junior colleagues/interns, and participation and active contribution to team and company development.
Requirements include:
- A Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Applied experience with ESATAN-TMS in industrial settings.
- Experience in CAD software (Solidworks, Catia) and FEM software (Nastran, FEMAP) is an asset.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Good command of Dutch is an asset.
