Global Head of Technology Transfer and Innovation

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Head of Technology Transfer to lead our global technology transfer activities. This is a key role that will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of new products into our manufacturing sites, as well as the transfer of existing commercial manufacturing processes across sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a matrix organization of Tech Transfer Leads in each manufacturing site to ensure effective leadership, oversight, communication, and stage gates are applied across all modalities.
- Evaluate and plan overall TT schedule and resources in close alignment with the Leadership Team.
- Provide global technical and business leadership for the technology transfers of new product introduction into the manufacturing facilities or transfer of existing commercial manufacturing processes across sites.
- Define and own the business process for TT, deliverables, tools, and standards used across all sites and teams to track progress, reporting of risk, and stakeholder management.
- Organize and hold Stage Gate Reviews for TT, track critical performance indicators for TT.
- Develop the overall technology transfer strategy with Technical Platform Leads and seek stakeholder and leadership endorsement.
- Provide facility fit assessment as requested and work with TT Leads and Site Platform SMEs in the MS&T local team to execute facility fit assessments as needed.
- BSc or MSc in a related scientific discipline such as chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical engineering or biotechnology.
- Technical Expert with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, medical devices industry in related areas of process technology scale up, transfer, validation of new products and/or existing products for expansion as a previous subject matter expert (Scientists/Engineer) or tech transfer lead.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as Project Manager or Matrix Leader of a cross-functional team with people leadership experience (Direct/indirect as matrix leader).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Project Management/PMP certification is a plus.
