We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join our team at Nordex Group. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across our manufacturing plants worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining HSE Management System: Ensure alignment with Corporate HSE and plant HSE teams, and maintain the HSE management system, standards, and processes.
- Defining HSE Standards: Develop and define HSE standards and requirements for third-party manufacturers.
- Supporting Functional Management: Provide support to functional management on HSE issues and communication sharing.
- Coordinating HSE Activities: Coordinate HSE activities across all manufacturing plants to improve safety culture.
- Supporting Engineering Teams: Support engineering teams on new product design and industrialization projects and developments.
- Performing Specialist HSE Tasks: Perform specialist HSE tasks such as hazardous material evaluation.
- Driving HSE Improvement Projects: Drive diverse HSE improvement and optimization projects within manufacturing, coordinating with headquarter teams and plant teams.
- Representing Manufacturing Organisation: Represent the manufacturing organization in global improvement projects.
- Leading Data Collection: Lead the data collection methods for manufacturing plants regarding HSE parameters and reports, including data required for Sustainability reporting.
- Auditing Plants: Audit plants to evaluate the implementation of the HSE management system.
- University Degree: Hold a university degree in Engineering or a similar technical degree with Health and Safety Advisor Training.
- Additional Qualification: Possess an additional environmental qualification.
- Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in the role of Health, Safety, and Environment specialist in a manufacturing environment.
- Language Skills: Possess a high level of English language proficiency (working language).
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Intercultural Awareness: Possess good intercultural awareness.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in teams.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Be a logical thinker who relies on data for decision making.
