The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in collaborating with key business leaders and the Finance Director to enhance and oversee the financial performance of the organization by delivering insightful financial analysis. This position ensures that all business operations align with our Financial Control Model (FCM) and that financial implications are accurately assessed and reported in accordance with established accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner by comprehensively understanding the business dynamics and the interdependencies among essential operational processes, relationships, and metrics. Serve as the primary finance expert and trusted advisor on financial matters within the organization, fostering a strong financial acumen across the business.
  • Assess industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee and evaluate the financial performance of the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to key reporting principles and the correct application of costing parameters, as well as the accuracy of managerial reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret the weekly/monthly actual performance of the business, identifying deviations from planned outcomes.
  • Provide a comprehensive executive summary of performance metrics to business leaders, facilitating discussions on actions and follow-ups.
  • Assist in the planning and forecasting processes.
  • Guarantee that plans and forecasts are consolidated and communicated promptly, ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Professional Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience, particularly in controlling and consolidation.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Excel and SAP is required.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong organizational skills.
