About the Role

As the Group Manager Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of digital content associates and front-line team managers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality content to Amazon's global audience. Your primary focus will be on managing problems across multiple functions, delegating tasks, identifying roadblocks, and recommending trade-offs to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a 40-50 member team, including 3+ front-line team managers, to deliver on business goals related to content publishing, quality, and data labelling.
  • Define operational metrics aligned with business goals and establish processes for measuring, tracking, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Track key metrics continuously, identify risks and gaps, and efficiently manage resources to ensure timely and defect-free content publishing.
  • Identify and evaluate areas of opportunity against business requirements and develop programs to fix root causes.
  • Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), processes, and tools to recommend changes that positively impact quality measures.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports to help them develop functional and leadership capabilities.
  • Exhibit and promote a culture of customer-centricity.
About the Team

The Prime Video Global Operations team partners with various stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee asset deliveries, system processing, and assembly, ensuring timely and defect-free content publishing to Amazon's global audience. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements
  • Experience in directly managing 2+ front-line managers.
  • Experience in managing a 40+ member team.
  • Experience in analysing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • Experience in influencing both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or trained in Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Experience and proficiency in the content publishing or quality management domain.
  • Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain.
  • Experience in data analysis, either through professional experience or education.
