We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Client Success Strategist to enhance the value our customers derive from their MongoDB subscriptions and services.

In this role, you will engage with our largest global clients, demonstrating a passion for technology and a readiness to tackle new challenges. Your adaptability and enthusiasm for innovation will contribute significantly to our existing processes and solutions. Daily interactions with customers who rely on critical software will be a key aspect of your role.

The Customer Success team at MongoDB plays a vital role in building relationships and serving as trusted advisors, guiding clients through best practices and addressing any obstacles they may encounter. Your contributions will be essential to our customers' success with MongoDB, spanning from onboarding and product adoption to expansion. This position will report to the Regional Manager of Customer Success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-focused position.
  • Experience with large-scale, technologically advanced enterprise clients in a dynamic SaaS environment.
  • A strong interest in technology; while we will provide training on MongoDB and databases, a foundational understanding of these concepts is beneficial.
  • Prior knowledge of database, cloud, and infrastructure technologies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage a strategic customer portfolio effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit, as you will frequently work with various teams (Sales, Marketing, Support, Product, Professional Services) to enhance the Customer Success brand across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the German language is essential for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with customers, engaging with various stakeholders and collaborating with MongoDB partners.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for customers and projects, assessing needs, identifying potential challenges, and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Encourage the adoption of premium MongoDB features within your assigned customer portfolio.
  • Proactively identify and address risks of customer churn.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to enhance MongoDB's Customer Success Program.
