The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Platform Architecture to lead our technical teams in designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based platform for our gaming products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of solution architects to ensure the platform's architecture is aligned with industry best practices and meets the demands of the business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from product, commercial, legal, and compliance to implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Drive good architectural practices throughout our technical teams and ensure the adoption of software quality models such as ISO/IEC 25010.
- Design and implement complex cloud-based IT systems covering transaction processing and data domains using microservices and event-driven patterns.
- Work closely with development teams to advise on architectural best practices and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and secure systems.
- Strong experience in an architectural role with at least 3 years of experience.
- Recruiting and managing technical teams.
- Creation of clear and concise architectural documentation and diagrams.
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing complex cloud-based IT systems.
- Cloud platforms and services such as AWS or GCP.
- Kubernetes or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Relational and NoSQL data stores.
- High-performance, scalable transactional systems.
- Information security and management in cloud-based systems.
- Incorporating business continuity and disaster recovery planning into software architecture.
