About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Insights Analyst to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Competitive Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic insights and recommendations to empower our Top Management to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Track key developments in our direct and indirect competition base, identifying potential risks and opportunities for Amadeus.
  • Conduct Competitive Deep Dives: Define the scope and deliverables of deep dives in cooperation with internal clients and the Strategy Manager/Senior Strategy Manager.
  • Present Findings and Recommendations: Present and/or contribute in preparing findings and recommendations to appropriate decision groups, including the Executive Committee (ExCom).
  • Represent Corporate Strategy: Represent Corporate Strategy in internal events and ensure customer satisfaction is monitored and kept as high as possible.
Requirements
  • Relevant Background: Relevant fields such as Economy, Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Presentation Skills: Deliver the message in a clear and organized manner, create engaging PowerPoint presentations (PPT), and use storytelling techniques.
  • Data Mining: Find key insights from large data sets using tools like Excel (XLS), statistical tools, Qlik, and Qlik script.
  • Curiosity and Commitment: Demonstrate a strong understanding of business principles, including financial skills such as budget management, product Profit and Loss (P&L), and capitalization.
  • Communication and Empathy: Align with people from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals, pass messages effectively, and listen actively.
  • Project Management: Problem solving, task management, time management, follow-up, team engagement, managing expectations, result-oriented, autonomy, and decision making.
