Business Analyst Job Description

Nippon Gases is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Madrid. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and improving our custom web applications, managing issues and enhancement requests from business users, and creating functional documents to share with the development team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent, and at least 5-8 years of IT and business work experience in similar functions. Native Spanish is required, and Italian language knowledge is valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve existing web applications
  • Manage issues and enhancement requests from business users
  • Create functional documents to share with the development team
  • Lead projects to create or extend custom web applications for different regions in Europe
  • Coordinate activities with other IT teams and external technical partners

Requirements:

  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum
  • Native Spanish
  • Italian language knowledge
  • At least 5-8 years of IT and business work experience in similar functions

Desirable Skills:

  • Object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework)
