About the Role

The Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Projects team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and implementing Sustainability Advisory Services Projects that support organizations globally in achieving ambitious decarbonization and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Sustainability Advisory Services Projects on various topics, including certification preparation, sustainability protocols, and supply chain mapping.
  • Support the development of client-oriented messaging for services and products offered by RSB.
  • Act as a project manager for clients in biofuels and energy, aviation, shipping, and consumer goods.
  • Prepare Advisory Services proposals to support client needs aligned with RSB's mission and framework.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5+ years working in the field of sustainability in a relevant sector.
  • Expertise in sustainability challenges in biomass production and certification, including industrial processing.
  • Track record of delivery in project management and implementation of consultancy projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to explain complex sustainability topics to a broad audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong report writing skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Salesforce, Asana, and Office 365.
