About the Role

The Sustainability Specialist is a key member of our team at DO & CO, responsible for driving our company's sustainability initiatives forward. This exciting role involves developing and implementing strategies to reduce our environmental footprint, promote eco-friendly practices, and enhance our corporate social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute plans that minimize our environmental impact and promote sustainable business practices.
  • Conduct Environmental Assessments: Analyze our operations and supply chain to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for reducing waste, energy consumption, and carbon emissions.
  • Manage Sustainability Projects: Oversee the implementation of sustainability projects, including energy-efficient initiatives, waste reduction programs, and green infrastructure development.
  • Communicate Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to promote our sustainability efforts and engage stakeholders.
  • Monitor and Report Sustainability Performance: Track and analyze our sustainability metrics, reporting progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of corporate sustainability principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
