About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing credit card payments and updating customer payment card details as needed
  • Following up on declined credit card payments with customers
  • Monitoring and reporting on customer outstanding invoices and unallocated payments
  • Working closely with the International Account Management team to review past due accounts and schedule regular meetings
  • Compiling and submitting overdue account details to the collection agency
  • Reviewing collection fees payable and ensuring they have been appropriately charged
  • Monitoring and responding to legal documents for customer bankruptcy declarations
  • Processing account write-offs as needed
  • Calculating monthly commissions for the Sales team
  • Producing credit memo reports
  • Ensuring cancellation and credit memos are correctly actioned
  • Creating proforma invoices for new customers
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new processes and systems

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Experience reviewing and advising on past due accounts for payment options and debt recovery
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • High level of professionalism and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is advantageous but not essential
