About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for processing customer payments, monitoring bounces and refunds, and updating internal collection reports. You will also be responsible for processing credit card payments, following up on declined payments, and communicating with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer payments by Direct Debit (SEPA) and monitor bounces/refunds
- Process credit card payments as needed and update customer payment card details on EPX
- Follow up on declined credit card payments with customers
- Take responsibility for monitoring the resolution of customer disputes
- Communicate with customers and internal teams for inquiries
- Contribute to monthly aging reports for review by the Finance Manager and Sales/Account Management teams
- Work closely with the Sales and Account Management team to review past due accounts
- Compile and submit overdue account details to the collection agency
- Monitor and respond to legal documents for customer Bankruptcy declaration
- Process account write-offs as needed
- Provide office administration support to the Finance Manager
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English, French, and Spanish language skills
- Experience reviewing and advising on past due accounts for payment options and debt recovery
- Organized and efficient with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- Good level of knowledge of Excel
- Experience with NetSuite, a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, a plus
- Experience with Aplifisa, a plus
