About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for processing credit card payments, updating customer payment card details, and communicating with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process credit card payments and update customer payment card details on EPX/Stripe as necessary.
  2. Follow up on declined credit card payments with customers where applicable.
  3. Monitor and resolve customer disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding payment information, invoice questions, and account balances.
  5. Monitor and report on customer outstanding invoices, unallocated payments, and customer issues.
  6. Work closely with the International Account Management team to review past due accounts and schedule regular meetings.
  7. Compile and submit overdue account details to the collection agency in accordance with the aged debt policy.
  8. Review collection fees payable to ensure they have been appropriately charged.
  9. Monitor and respond to legal documents related to customer bankruptcy declarations.
  10. Process account write-offs as needed in conjunction with collection accounts.
  11. Calculate monthly commissions for the Sales team.
  12. Produce a credit memo report to be sent to the Customer Excellence Director at month-end.
  13. Ensure cancellation and credit memos are correctly actioned for accounts.
  14. Create proforma invoices for new customers to ensure payment upfront is received before services commence.
  15. Assist with the onboarding of new processes and systems, including testing and training for internal staff and customers.
Requirements
  1. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in German and English.
  2. Experience reviewing and advising on past due accounts for payment options and debt recovery.
  3. Organized and efficient with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
