Job Title: QC Lead - Quality Assurance Expert

Job Summary:

Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled QC Lead to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our mobile games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality assurance process for our mobile games, ensuring that all aspects of the game meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of the game.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and production, to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of bug life cycle and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to operate Android and iOS platforms without assistance.
  • Excellent planning and reporting skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, such as JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
  • Top-notch communication skills, with the ability to identify and defuse stressful situations.
  • High flexibility and adaptability to new situations.
  • Ability to build collaborative spirit within the team.
  • Proactive attitude, with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or software engineering.
  • Passion for games and some knowledge of the mobile F2P gaming industry.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
