Data Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Service Manager to join our team at Sonova. As a Data Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the service parts lifecycle and underlying logic, resulting in customer-centric, sustainable, and cost-effective service processes.
Key Responsibilities- Service Parts Management: Create and set up service parts in the ERP system, collaborating with service process managers to ensure accurate information entry.
- Release Coordination: Coordinate the release of parts with service process managers and other departments to ensure timely and efficient releases.
- Master Data Collaboration: Liaise with master data teams to ensure on-time delivery of service parts for product validation and launch, minimizing potential delays.
- Process Development: Develop and implement processes for the 'End of Service' phase, including forecasting remaining service volumes and managing inventory changes.
- Replacement Strategy Guidance: Provide guidance on replacement strategies after product changes or post-launch engineering projects, aligning with service forecasts.
- Process Enhancement: Continuously enhance service parts management practices, including lot sizes and packaging, and confirm local change requests; aim for process harmonization and standardization across R&D sites.
- Documentation Management: Keep all relevant documentation current and accessible to support transparency and efficiency in service parts management.
- Forecasting and Modeling: Develop and refine models to forecast service volumes, incorporating internal and external drivers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding and ability to quickly grasp complex concepts related to service parts management.
- ERP Experience: Interest in working with ERP systems like SAP, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with teams across different departments and geographical locations.
- Data Analysis: Strong interest in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from data to drive process improvements.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and committed, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
