FX Dealer Job Description

Ebury is a leading FinTech firm that offers a range of innovative financial solutions, including FX risk management, trade finance, and international payments. We are seeking an experienced FX Dealer to join our team in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service a portfolio of corporate clients across various products, including FX hedging, lending, and cash management.
  • Execute FX trades with multiple liquidity providers, utilizing various trading platforms and Bloomberg/Reuters.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to assist in business origination, understanding client business environments and strategies to provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, client churn reduction, and upselling high-margin products.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and communication.
  • Originate new business through networking with existing clients and referrals.
Requirements:
  • Strong financial services sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
  • Experience working in a commercial bank, selling to SMEs, and knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Relevant experience in an environment different from a bank, such as FX specialists or cash management.
  • Fluent Spanish and Catalan, and a professional level of English.
  • Proven ability to bring passion, energy, and motivation to a sales organization.

  • Able to develop sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
