Job Summary:

Velfram Foods Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and safety of all food products produced and distributed by our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve processes and procedures, and to resolve any issues related to product quality.
  • Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to product quality, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Train and educate staff on quality assurance protocols to ensure a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to food safety and quality, and implement changes as necessary to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience within the food industry, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certification in HACCP and Food Safety is a plus.
