Job Title: Marketplace Consultant

Join Amazon's Strategic Account Services Team as a Marketplace Consultant and leverage your expertise to drive business growth and program satisfaction for our Selling Partners.

About the Role:

As a Marketplace Consultant, you will strategically consult your own portfolio of Selling Partners independently, working backwards from their individual targets to develop a roadmap together with your Selling Partners. Your objective is to support Selling Partners to drive their business growth and program satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of 10-20 Selling Partners to develop individual strategies, manage timelines, expectations, and own communications.
  • Produce profound business recommendations and actionable insights by using a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data.
  • Consult your Selling Partners on opportunities derived and potential business impact.
  • Support execution and operational challenges by being a proficient sparring partner to your Selling Partners.
  • Build relationships by close collaboration and delivering results, using trust to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders.
  • Coach Selling Partners about Amazon's solutions and news to enhance their knowledge about Selling on Amazon.
  • Recruit and engage with prospective Selling Partners for SAS based on a clear understanding of our Selling Partners and their needs.
  • Prepare and present performance deep dives to facilitate a monthly discussion around business progress, current challenges, and strategic plans with your Selling Partner.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Work experience in top-tier level consulting, key account management, advertising sales, B2B, digital retail/e-commerce, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a similar program from a top-tier university.
  • Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Well-founded knowledge in strategy development and execution.
  • Proven ability to successfully attract, manage, and interact with clients independently, particularly at the executive level.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior presentation skills to inform and influence stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience of business-to-business selling.
  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary.
  • High attention to detail and the management of multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tool.
  • Creative, has initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer.
