AP Analyst Junior

Join Page Personnel, a leading recruitment agency, in our mission to find the best talent for our clients. We are currently seeking an AP Analyst Junior to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented AP Analyst Junior to support our Accounts Payable team. As an AP Analyst Junior, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable activities, processing supplier invoices and credit notes, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable activities for Non-Media Business Units, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Utilize ERP to manage processing of supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring compliance with global SLAs.
  • Process supplier invoice and credit note registrations within agreed timelines, matching them to purchase orders and routing for approval promptly.
  • Monitor volumes and highlight any backlogs proactively to the Accounts Payable Manager, ensuring minimal delays in payment processing.
  • Prepare payment proposals in accordance with agreed payment timetables, creating settlement runs for approved payment proposals.
  • Obtain supplier statements and reconcile supplier accounts, investigating differences proactively and documenting all supplier queries for follow-up.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of supplier queries at the earliest, involving all parties required, and ensuring supplier master data records accurately reflect correct supplier details and agreed contractual terms.
  • Provide holiday and sick cover for colleagues as needed, driving towards minimal backlogs on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Deliver weekly settlement runs, providing reports and participating in weekly Accounts Payable review meetings with the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Drive Accounts Payable to close with minimal unregistered invoices and credit notes and low levels of queries, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience in Accounts Payable in a large, preferably international organization.
  • Finance background, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Confidence in dealing and building relationships, both internally and externally, with strong communication skills and ability to handle complexity.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to work to firm deadlines and calm under pressure.
  • Well-organized with strength in prioritizing, and a commercially focused approach with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Languages: English B2, French B2, fluency in German, Dutch will be highly valued.
