We are seeking a highly skilled International Project Manager to support our European sales teams in the preparation of commercial bids for complex regulating valves projects.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the execution of these projects, handling all activities from award to invoicing, and ensuring delivery according to customer requirements and contractual deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and pre-project teams in bid preparation, coordinating customer specification review and planning activities.
  • Participate in alignment and contract review meetings, influencing internal strategy and sharing feedback.
  • Negotiate technical and documentary requisitions with customers, in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Ensure Emerson's commitments are documented when awarding contracts and at order entry.
  • Define project deadlines for goods and documentation.
  • Take responsibility for projects once won, acting as the customer's main contact for Flow Controls Europe.
  • Manage project stages, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met, and coordinate modifications as needed.
  • Improve project profitability by preparing a margin improvement plan and identifying cost-limiting actions.

Requirements:

  • 5-year master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in project management in an industrial environment.
  • English essential for team coordination, customer negotiations, and reporting.
  • Mastery of negotiation and customer relations techniques.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs.
  • International cross-functional management skills.
  • Ability to evolve in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of similar products and the market.
  • Italian and French language skills.
