About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Promote Project. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tax advisory services to our business stakeholders, including compliance with CIT, VAT, WHT, and TP matters.
- Support the implementation of DAC7 rules and other ViDA initiatives within the organization, including data analysis and learning the core functionalities of our business.
- Assist the team in tax compliance matters, tracking tax declaration statuses in all legal entities and coordinating the timely filing of declarations.
- Identify and control tax risks associated with new products and transactions.
- Support FREENOW colleagues in working out VAT-compliant approaches in invoicing processes in different markets.
- Be involved in Transfer Pricing topics, such as preparatory work for the Group Masterfile and local files, as well as monitoring of IC agreements.
- Support and monitor deferred and actual tax calculations for all consolidated legal entities during the year-end closing.
- Be involved in local tax audits, ensuring a smooth process and the protection of group interests and positions.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience working in international tax, either in a global tax advisory firm, the tax department of an industrial company, or a comparable position.
- University degree in economics or tax, or commercial education or apprenticeship with qualified training.
- Good general knowledge of European tax regimes, analytical mindset, and understanding of international tax principles and mechanisms.
- High sense of responsibility, owner-mentality for work field, and ability to manage fast-close processes in an international group.
- Strong coordination skills, experience in managing outsourced tax services or multinational engagements a plus.
- Good MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel.
- Fluency in English, second language a plus, high level of teamwork and communication skills.
