About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to join our team at Mars (New). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving category growth and market share through the development of optimal shopping experiences, portfolios, and assortments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Gather, implement, and manage market research to provide valuable insights to the business, creating value propositions and action plans to drive category growth.
  • Competitor Analysis: Effectively follow up on retail sales prices, market, and competitors' analysis to inform our go-to-market pricing strategy and ensure correct SRM implementation.
  • Sales Acceleration: Leverage key sales analytics and shopper insights to build sales acceleration programs in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Category Partnerships: Drive category partnerships with key accounts, chains, and customers, leveraging market data and consumer insights to increase market share.
  • Perfect Store Implementation: Deploy the ideal shopping experience designed by Global, based on shopper and client insights, and ensure its successful implementation across the organization.
Requirements
  • Higher University degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Category Management/Sales, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
