Logistics Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Director to lead our Logistics area in Spain and Portugal, ensuring the best performance and experience for our internal and external stakeholders.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of logistics specialists, designing and improving procedures, training, and onboarding materials to ensure high performance and productivity across the department.
You will also be responsible for delivering solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements, selecting carriers for transportation, and negotiating fees and contracts with carriers to optimize and improve the logistics area profitability.
Additionally, you will monitor and manage the department OPEX and direct report to the Director of Logistics Iberia.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines, with at least 6 years of experience working in Strategic Business Development Projects, Startups, Fast Scale companies, or Strategy Consulting.
You should have strong problem-solving, operational, and strategic thinking skills, as well as strong work ethics, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities and time-sensitive deadlines while working autonomously.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills are also essential, as well as strong analytical skills and being data-driven, managing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
English C1 or above is required, and Portuguese B2 would be nice to have.
