Position: Cybersecurity Operations Analyst at EcoVadis

EcoVadis is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to enhance our IT Security team. This pivotal role is essential for aligning our security objectives with organizational strategies while remaining abreast of emerging security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage Security Operations Center activities;
  • Continuously monitor, identify, and assess security incidents;
  • Administer cyber-intelligence functions;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline SOC services;
  • Improve security event monitoring and incident management;
  • Document processes and refine SOC operations;
  • Establish policies and standards for SOC activities;
  • Work closely with Network and Security Operations teams;
  • Drive enhancements in security operations;
  • Perform regular security assessments of infrastructure;
  • Manage security tools and ensure their effectiveness;
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for SOC operations;
  • Maintain Incident and Crisis Response strategies;
  • Facilitate threat management and develop security use cases;
  • Encourage innovation and growth within the SOC;
  • Promote continuous improvement and automation initiatives;
  • Support additional security projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in security operations;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • Relevant professional certifications (SANS GIAC / GCIH, Azure SC-200);
  • Practical experience in SOC strategy and implementation;
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies and best practices;
  • Experience in incident management and SOC automation;
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
  • Fluency in English; familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.

Location: Preferred in Barcelona, Spain (Remote work options available)
