Position: Cybersecurity Operations Analyst at EcoVadis

EcoVadis is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to enhance our IT Security team. This role is essential in aligning our security strategies with organizational objectives while remaining abreast of emerging security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the functions of the Security Operations Center;
  • Continuously monitor, identify, and evaluate security incidents;
  • Administer cyber-intelligence capabilities;
  • Facilitate coordination of SOC services with internal partners;
  • Improve security event monitoring and incident management;
  • Draft documentation and refine SOC processes;
  • Establish policies and standards for SOC operations;
  • Collaborate with the Network and Security Operations teams;
  • Drive enhancements in security operations;
  • Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities;
  • Manage security devices to ensure they operate effectively;
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and metrics for SOC activities;
  • Maintain Incident and Crisis Response Plans;
  • Implement threat management strategies and develop security use cases;
  • Encourage innovation and growth within the SOC;
  • Promote continuous improvement and automation initiatives;
  • Support additional security projects and tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in security operations;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
  • Relevant professional certifications in security (SANS GIAC / GCIH, Azure SC-200);
  • Practical experience in SOC development and strategy;
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies and best practices;
  • Experience in incident management and SOC automation;
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
  • Fluency in English; familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.

Location: Preferred in Barcelona, Spain (Remote work option available)
