Job Title: Roadway Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Roadway Design Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our Linear Infrastructures team, you will be responsible for designing and developing roadway projects from feasibility studies to detailed designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work independently on small projects or portions of larger projects, preparing design calculations and reports related to roadway elements.
  • Perform roadway engineering work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct self-checks of work products prior to submission and participate in quality control reviews of documentation.
  • Prepare project deliverables for review by senior team members.
  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in roadway design.
  • Advanced level in geometric design and 3D modeling using software such as Bentley Open Roads Designer or Civil3D.
  • Experience working with international regulations and standards (e.g., AASTHO, AREMA, Australian Codes, British Standards).
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
  • US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license.
