Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Roadway Design Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our Linear Infrastructures team, you will be responsible for preparing geometric designs of linear infrastructures, setting standards and procedures for CAD works, and working on complex drawings in 2D and 3D.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare geometric designs of linear infrastructures, including roads, highways, and bridges.
  • Develop and implement standards and procedures for CAD works, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Work on complex drawings in 2D and 3D, including markups and CAD works, to support AECOM's Home Offices.
  • Collaborate with international teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform daily work under the supervision of senior or experienced engineers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roadway design.
  • Experience with international regulations and standards, such as AASTHO, AREMA, and Australian Codes.
  • Intermediate level in geometric design and 3D modeling using software such as Bentley Open Roads Designer, Civil3D, or 12d.
  • Intermediate level in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate growth potential.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
  • US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license.
