Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Specialist to lead the implementation of safety management processes and drive the transformation of our safety culture across our European training centers. As a key member of our Civil Aviation Regional Safety team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a centralized Safety Management System (SMS) framework to enhance safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety management plans to mitigate hazards and risks.
  • Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with European and country-specific regulations.
  • Educate and mentor staff on safety principles and best practices.
  • Support the execution of safety management plans and achievement of Safety Performance Targets (SPTs).
  • Design and deliver safety training courses and promotion materials.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating a Safety Management System for training organizations or airlines.
  • Knowledge of ICAO, Transport Canada, FAR, CASA, EASA, and other NAA regulations.
  • Holds/has held an ICAO recognized Flight Crew License (Recommended).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage local and remote teams.
  • Experience in investigating and evaluating aircraft and training accidents/incidents.
  • 2 to 5 years of job-related experience.
