About the Role

Ecolab, a leading provider of food safety and brand protection solutions, is seeking a part-time Contractor/Freelance Food Safety Brand Standard Auditor to join our team in Málaga.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and training to help clients maintain the highest standards in food safety, cleanliness, guest experience, and brand protection.
  • Consult, coach, and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices.
  • Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform a budgeted number of audits weekly and provide accurate reporting and effective customer communication and relationships.
Requirements
  • Completed bachelor's degree in food science or a related subject.
  • Food safety certifications, such as HACCP, ISO22000, BRC, or NEHA (RS, REHS, or CP-FS) credentials.
  • Retail food safety experience and reviews of brand standards.
  • Teaching or coaching experience in a food-related field.
  • Strong relationship management and advanced consulting skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively without supervision, demonstrate initiative, common sense, and superior decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks, and work efficiently against deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level 4 Food Safety qualification.
  • Working level English and Spanish (Fluent).
  • Completed bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality; or demonstrated experience in the food/hygiene industry.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends depending on business needs.
  • A valid driver's license.
