The Finance Business Partner for Italy and Iberia is a key role that supports the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain in financial matters and serves as a business partner to the commercial teams of Italy and Spain.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain and the commercial teams, providing meaningful decision support and influencing key decisions.
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the area of responsibility, working closely with the country cluster Managing Director and his/her commercial team.
- Steer the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for the Cluster, in line with process and guidance set by Global FP&A.
- Drive the financial performance of the cluster, focusing on profitability and working capital management, in line with strategy and business objectives.
- Provide analytical support to enable an understanding of business dynamics, working closely with FP&A.
- Closely cooperate with FP&A in preparing budgets and forecasts, identifying and supporting cost savings.
- Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance, particularly profitability and working capital improvements.
- Drive and coordinate commercial business case preparation related to business expansions, outsourcing deals, chocolate academies, and sales offices.
- Support the transition to the new finance operating model, including GBS leverage.
- Drive improvement initiatives of finance processes, focusing on digitalization and standardization.
- Collaborate with Pricing to ensure accurate pricing of products to customers, based on FP&A analysis of pre- and post-calculated costs.
- Ensure integrity and financial controls in the Clusters of the organization, using and building on data, information, and intelligence from global finance functions.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
- English business proficiency, both written and oral.
- Extensive experience in finance, preferably in B2B/food industries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
- Open-minded and curious, eager to continuously learn and explore various aspects of finance.
- Strong analytical, hands-on, and flexible skills, with a strong drive to deliver results.
- Strong team player.
- Knowledge of SAP (including BW) and IFRS.
- Stakeholder management and analytical skills.
This role is located in Italy (Milan) or Spain (Barcelona) and involves travel.
