The Finance Business Partner for Italy and Iberia is a key role that supports the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain in financial matters and serves as a business partner for the commercial teams in these regions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain, providing financial support and influencing key decisions.
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the region, working closely with the country cluster Managing Director and their commercial team.
- Steer the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for the Cluster, in line with global FP&A processes and guidance.
- Drive the financial performance of the cluster, focusing on profitability and working capital management, in line with strategy and business objectives.
- Provide analytical support to the business and management, enabling an understanding of the business dynamics.
- Closely cooperate with FP&A to prepare budgets and forecasts, identify cost savings, and lead projects to improve business performance.
- Support the transition to the new finance operating model, including leveraging Global Business Services (GBS).
- Drive improvement initiatives for finance processes, focusing on digitalization and standardization.
- Collaborate with Pricing to ensure accurate pricing of products to customers, based on FP&A analysis of pre- and post-calculated costs.
- Ensure integrity and financial controls in the Clusters, using and building on data, information, and intelligence from global finance functions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- English business proficiency, both written and oral.
- Extensive experience in finance, preferably in a multinational company, with a strong background in accounting, FP&A, or business partnering.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
- Open-minded and curious, with a willingness to continuously learn and explore various aspects of finance.
- Analytical, hands-on, and flexible, with a strong drive to deliver results and achieve targets.
- Strong team player with knowledge of SAP (including BW) and IFRS.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
This role is located in Italy (Milan) or Spain (Barcelona) and involves travel.
