The Position

As a recognized expert in your field, you will have a broad knowledge and skill set of related disciplines. You will guide and participate in large, global cross-functional or cross-chapter projects, acting as a coach for colleagues with less experience and helping them develop their skills and expertise.

You will be involved in solving unique or unprecedented problems that have an impact on a part of the organization, function, or chapter. You will inspire and foster organizational excellence through your knowledge of design and quality assurance standards, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and software development teams to translate business/customer needs into technological solutions.
  • Make influential and expert contributions to strategic directions and projects through knowledge of technology and its creative applications.
  • Prepare for and participate in Program Increment (PI) planning with the program, heavily involved in program backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and System/Solution Architect(s) to provide the program with technical roadmap guidance and contribute to the conversation regarding technology choices, quality assurance, and innovative approaches.
  • Participate in program sync meetings to coordinate with teams, program leadership, and solution to ensure successful delivery of customer value.
  • Leveraging agreed-upon acceptance criteria, quality assurance, and definition of done, be responsible for formally accepting/approving completion of all capabilities and features being delivered by the program.
  • Assist and influence the team to focus on customer centricity, built-in software quality, and holistic system design thinking in addition to technical excellence.
  • Participate in and lead by example in program and technical discussions, including participation in planning, technical assessments, program leadership meetings, design reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with System Architect to introduce architectural enablers, conduct feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses to maintain architectural runway.
  • Develop high-quality proof-of-concepts and rapid prototypes for transfer to scrum team experts.
  • Review and critique presentations for others; present complex technical data to large and diverse groups.
  • Consistently and effectively present complex technical concepts, innovations/initiatives, and project outcomes, both internally and externally, to large and diverse groups.
