About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Clarivate. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop software solutions that meet business functional and non-functional requirements
  • Adhere to and contribute to Clarivate's coding standards for excellence and industry best practices
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely commitments and share responsibility for keeping time commitments
  • Actively participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve processes and product quality
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component development
  • Good skills in developing software following best practices
  • Eager to develop skills in architectural patterns and clean code
  • Good understanding of working around Salesforce limits by using asynchronous/batch processing
  • Good knowledge of GIT based source-driven development
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn new things
  • Agile mindset and ability to work in a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Design, or related field
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and eagerness to become an expert in modern web frameworks like Angular or React
  • Any of these Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I or II, JavaScript Developer
