This is a challenging opportunity to join the EMEA Energy and Water team as a Water Infrastructure Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the scaling and growth of our Data Centre network across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage design consultants, contractual drafting, develop and document requirements, budgets, and project schedules.
- Team Leadership: Manage remote 3rd project delivery teams from design through to construction, and possess the ability to facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, and remove barriers to project success.
- Business Development: Build and maintain the overall delivery program and project budget, submitting Capital Allocation Requests to Senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery.
- Investment Planning: Prepare investment need/business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projects to secure water supply and discharges.
The EMEA Energy and Water team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering/Economics/Business.
- Experience: 10+ years' combined work experience delivering water design infrastructure and engineering solutions for capital-intensive projects across diversified industries.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish.
- Skills: 3+ years demonstrated experience with analytical and commercial skill set to review utility tariffs, water projects and contracts.
- Project Management: 3+ years of experience managing project scope, business case and infrastructure requirements, develop contract and draft documentation, request for proposals, and capital requests.
