About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Researcher to join our team at the Institute for Advanced Family Studies (IESF) at UIC Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supervising data analyses, writing manuscripts for publication in top scientific journals, leading the writing of grant applications for research funding, and communicating with research funders and handling project administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the implementation of research projects as a principal investigator
  • Conducting and supervising data analyses

Requirements
  • A PhD in a discipline related to the position
  • Oral and written proficiency in English
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Excellent track record of publications
  • Participation in funded research projects
  • Proven research experience in the area of family studies
Selection Process

The UIC Barcelona selection process involves an independent board of experts that assesses all applications and decides who will move on to the next stage. A public oral defence by finalist applicants will be conducted, followed by a series of questions from the examination panel.
