Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team in Murcia Region, Spain. As a Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new assortment for Product Management Companies (PMCs) on local and country levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crop trial plans in line with global crop trial plans.
- Collaborate with local crop teams to provide input on crop strategy and market-customer intelligence.
- Support the development and maintenance of product profiles.
- Advise on and support introduction strategies for new products.
- Ensure the implementation and alignment of trial calendars.
Performance Indicators
- Quality of trial plans, design, and execution.
- Successful introductions of new products.
- Definition of growing protocols and growing concepts before commercial launching.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Horticulture.
- At least 3 years of experience in the vegetable seed industry.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to think and act at different levels, with a willingness to put 'boots on the ground'.
- Analytical and result-oriented mindset.
