Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our demand generation team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in contacting and qualifying business accounts to achieve/exceed demand generation targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of SDRs in executing inbound marketing source leads (MQLs) and outbound targeted campaign execution to drive revenue growth.
  2. Develop and improve the customer experience within Oracle by establishing and aligning with cross-functional senior management relationships.
  3. Identify, recruit, and develop world-class SDRs, providing an exceptional talent pool for career progression within Oracle.
  4. Invest in SDRs and Team Leaders, enabling them to grow professionally.
  5. Build strong business relationships with stakeholders to deliver company goals, vision, and strategy.
  6. Set individual targets for team members, conduct regular coaching & performance appraisals, and manage performance issues.
  7. Own the headcount budget process for the region, plan resources to maximize lead qualification, and ensure career progression of team members.
  8. Report regularly to country owners on SDR performance, providing statistics on lead quality and realized/forecast revenue.
  9. Drive the use of various channels, such as social media, internet, web-based tools, and outbound calling, ensuring compliance with Oracle tools usage and processes.
  10. Implement programmatic marketing plans, allocating resources to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven team builder and motivator with experience in successful people management within a sales relationship management environment.
  2. Excellent coaching skills.
  3. Strong understanding of telebusiness operations and ability to analyze the industry and market.
  4. Budgeting, forecasting, and business planning experience.
  5. Proven ability to align other departments to deliver revenue and sales growth.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential.
  7. 3-5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development management with knowledge of SaaS applications a distinct advantage.
  8. Fluency in English is essential, and a second language is favorable.
