Job Description

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Powertrain Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and testing of powertrain systems for various vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and internal combustion engines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in powertrain engineering, with experience in testing and development of powertrain systems. You will work closely with our project managers and engineers to design, develop, and test powertrain systems, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test powertrain systems for various vehicle technologies
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that powertrain systems meet the required specifications and regulations
  • Conduct testing and validation of powertrain systems to ensure that they meet the required performance and safety standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports related to powertrain systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in powertrain technology

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in powertrain engineering, with a focus on testing and development
  • Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, including electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and internal combustion engines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
