Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative leader to spearhead the strategy and execution of new product launches at Happy Mammoth, a fast-growing natural food tech business. As the Head of Innovation and Product Development, you will be responsible for blending deep market insights with a keen understanding of consumer trends and preferences to drive the commercialization of our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Product Launch Strategies: Orchestrate the end-to-end commercialization process, from initial concept to successful market launch, ensuring alignment with Happy Mammoth's business strategy and the strategic imperatives of all internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product development and launch, leveraging your expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to inform product development and positioning strategies, identifying opportunities to capitalize on trends and innovations in the CPG landscape.
  • Timeline and Budget Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and effective product launches, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to meet business objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support product commercialization, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience, with a track record of successful product launches and a proven ability to drive business growth.
  • Product Development and Commercialization: Proven experience in product development and commercialization, preferably in the CPG or food & beverage industry, with a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market dynamics.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, capable of leading conversations for both internal teams and external partners, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
