Position Overview
We are seeking skilled English to Spanish (ES) video game translators for temporary in-house AAA game localization projects. This role is part of our Localization Department, where you will work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to established processes and project guidelines.
- Take ownership of each phase of the project lifecycle.
- Complete tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist and support fellow team members.
- Comply with Localsoft's confidentiality and security protocols.
Requirements
- Availability for a temporary project.
- Fluent in English with full working proficiency.
- Exceptional native language skills.
- A university degree in Translation, with either 2 years of full-time translation/editing experience in the gaming industry or 5 years in a related field.
- Able to thrive in a multicultural, dynamic, and deadline-oriented office setting.
- Proficient in following instructions, checklists, and glossaries.
- Capable of localizing a minimum of 2000 words per day while adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CAT tools.
