About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Team Lead to join our Marketing division at Semrush. As a key member of our Insight team, you will be responsible for leading our Marketing and Sales Analytics team and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Marketing and Sales Analytics Team: Manage a team of analysts to deliver high-quality analytics support to Marketing and Sales divisions, ensuring they achieve their goals.
  2. Strategic Roadmap and Analytics Maturity: Collaborate with VP-level stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for analytics maturity, driving business growth and improvement.
  3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and maintain data usage in decision-making processes, ensuring data-driven insights inform business decisions.
  4. Tool Development and Maintenance: Design and develop tools and services for generating data insights and business recommendations, including dashboards and self-service analytics.
  5. KPI Development and Measurement: Help develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and tools for measuring their success.
  6. Team Development and Growth: Manage the team's professional growth, providing ongoing feedback and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  7. Process Development and Collaboration: Develop processes with other teams in the analytics department, ensuring seamless collaboration and data standardization.
  8. Data Development and Documentation: Organize and manage the data development process, ensuring data standardization and documentation.
  9. Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with marketing analytics teams to develop and maintain data warehousing and analytics infrastructure.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  2. People Management: 2+ years of experience in people management.
  3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Python programming language, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
  5. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of influencing senior leadership and driving organizational change.
  6. Project Management: Proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modeling: Expertise in statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling.
  8. Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly preferred.
