Procurement Specialist for Research and Innovation

About the Role:
Airbus is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Spain. As a key player in Research, Innovation, and Testing, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities within the Research, Innovation & Test Sub-Commodity (PJER).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of procurement strategies and plans for Research and Testing topics.
- Manage procurement activities, including catalogues, adherence to implemented strategies, and workshops.
- Provide inputs to the Multi-functional team (MFT) or Multi-divisional team (MDT) to support strategic development.
- Define and develop synergies, end-to-end approach, and support transition from Research to Industrialization phase.
- Manage projects and call for tenders with multi-divisional and trans-national scope for Research, Innovation, and Testing scope.
- Ensure continuous commercial relationship with suppliers to protect from risks.
- Contribute to Supplier's development in digitalisation, innovation, and value creation.
- Support development of selected suppliers or Start-ups.
- Continues improvement of process for Innovation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (e.g., Aeronautic, Industrial, or related).
- Advanced level of English (C1 level) and Spanish are mandatory. Other languages are valuable, such as French.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel and PowerPoint) or Google Suite (especially in Google Sheets and Google Slides).
- Good communication skills, learning orientation, and proactive attitude.
