About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Programme Manager to join our Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) team, responsible for the transportation planning and execution of our heavy items, such as furniture and large home appliances. As a Programme Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our operations and driving innovation in our processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch and monitor programmes, ensuring timely delivery of key objectives and metrics.
  • Utilize data to identify operational challenges and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to leverage best practices and drive progress.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming challenges and driving progress within a programme environment.
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, defining standards and ensuring seamless execution.
A Day in the Life

As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you will identify exciting new opportunities and take the lead in designing their implementation.

About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a specialist fulfilment centre and delivery station team that manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We deliver large items, unpack, assemble, and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, we are changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
