About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our team at Icl Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our Business Controller in various financial and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end closing related general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist the Business Controller in preparing required schedules and interacting with external auditors for annual audits.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including the business controller, local HR team, and Director of Finance.
  • Support reporting manager in quarterly balance sheet review processes and perform balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis.
  • Perform assigned internal control/SOX activities and carry out monthly and annual accounting closings.
  • Monitor financial evolution and analysis of group companies at the P&L and Balance sheet level, ensuring compliance with defined parameters.
  • Propose recommendations regarding deviations from reports and prepare the Budget and analysis of deviations.
  • Guarantee the implementation of processes, procedures, and policies necessary for the correct development of activity in each group company.
  • Coordinate all audit processes of group companies, managing data and people.
  • Manage all administrative-financial processes of one of our subsidiaries.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious team member who is business-oriented and dedicated, with a pragmatic approach. You should be able to work independently with good time management skills, be eager, result-driven, and a problem solver.

Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Economics, ADE, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting and/or reporting related roles in a large multi-national (preferably in a shared service environment).
  • Knowledge of general ledger operational accounting (Spanish).
  • Strong knowledge of front-end GL/reporting systems, preferably QAD, SAP consolidation NetSuite system.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
