Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Thermal Customer Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to all assigned service calls in a professional manner while on duty.
- Reading, understanding, and complying with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.
- Performing all work in a safe manner, in accordance with established company safety policy and local regulations.
- Keeping the dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
- Ensuring spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.
- Submitting paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Maintaining the accuracy of the customer and installed base database by reporting errors.
- Reporting and promoting sales or service leads to the proper department.
- Actively seeking tech leads and service business opportunities.
- Being a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting.
- Working closely with department supervisors to assist with day-to-day operational duties.
- Ensuring availability to work during weekends and nights in compliance with local labor laws.
- FOLLOWING AND RESPECTING environmental guidelines established by Importante Empresa and those specific to client facilities.
- Attending environmental trainings as required.
- Complying with waste producer requirements established by current legislation.
Requirements
- High school diploma in Air Conditioning or Electrical engineering.
- Native in the local language; Good English.
- 4 years of experience in technical service area working in a service or test environment of Air conditioning equipment.
- Computer Literate.
- Well organized and able to work under pressure.
