Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team at Brown-Forman. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the correct application of invoices received, in accordance with tax laws and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the global workflow of vendor invoices to internal and external customers, facilitating timely and accurate payments.
  • Work with customers to resolve exceptions or obstructions to the payment process, identify and implement efficiencies, and support other payment processing centers.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of international business practices, including currencies, tax laws, and local customs.
  • Perform daily accounts payable functions for designated business areas managed in Mexico, including processing PO invoices through invoice processing and SAP Systems.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve vendor and customer issues in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Train Accounts Payable staff and end users on invoice processing procedures, cross-train with Accounts Payable team members, and maintain and update Accounts Payable documentation and training materials.
  • Back up and support the global payment analyst position, maintaining Vendor Master Bank information tables in SAP and coordinating with the Treasury or Strategic sourcing departments.

  • Proficiency in SAP Systems and Microsoft Office.
