About the Role
This is a fixed-term contract for months as maternity cover. The dedication is flexible up to a minimum of a 75% dedication, which translates into 28.5 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth HR knowledge to autonomously take the lead for a designated business function on all Country HR related tasks and activities across the entire employees' life-cycle.
- Coach managers on best practices and all HR initiatives so they can effectively lead and support their teams.
- Drive employee relations activities and advise the business on Spanish Labour Law (hiring, disciplinary processes, absence management, international assignments, etc).
- Work closely with the relevant Business Partners responsible for business function.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help planning of training and development.
- Administer compensation and benefit plans, supporting with communications and employee guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor / Master in any HR related or legal subject.
- Good experience working in an HR function required.
- Up to date knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and best practice.
- First experience in works council relations preferable.
- Previous experience in working in an international matrix-structure desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capacity to deal with a wide range of stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, influence and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly and able to converse with people at any level.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning and analytical skills.
