Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and driven engineer who will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative concepts into market-ready products while maintaining exceptional quality standards for existing offerings. Join a team of experienced engineers dedicated to developing reliable and efficient miniature motion control systems, utilizing the latest development tools and advanced wide bandgap power electronics.
The selected engineer will focus on the design, implementation, and validation of the Servo Drive product line, as well as custom solutions. A strong foundation in hardware engineering, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the principles governing motion control technology, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain the hardware that operates Servo Drives.
- Design both custom and standard Drives, including schematic and PCB layouts.
- Engage in hands-on hardware board bring-up, system troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Enhance external documentation for Servo Drives products (Product manuals, Datasheets, etc.).
- Refine internal documentation for Servo Drives products (Architecture, Detailed Design, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish Test and Verification Plans for Servo Drives products.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design and assembly processes.
- Background in electrical power applications.
- Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI).
- Familiarity with PCB/PCA manufacturing processes.
- Experience in testing methodologies.
- Proven expertise in Altium Designer.
- Proficient in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
Travel Expectations
- Occasional travel may be required for customer support and installation purposes.
